Just tired....

I'm feeling a bit down today. I'm hoping that my lunch date with a friend of mine will lift my sprits as we see "The Ugly Truth" I heard it was funny! I could use a good laugh. Kyle has been gone for nearly 7 months now and frankly I'm just darn tired of it! I'm tired of managing everything on my own, I've been so strong for so long that I can feel the crack getting bigger and bigger. I run all over here and half of Georgia taking kids to bus stops, picking them up from 2 different aftercare programs,mowing the grass in triple digit heat, gymnastics, cleaing, laundry, baths, dinner, homework, working part time, preparing for level 2 of nursing school...and on and on and on!

I'm just tired!

He was due to be home last week but got delayed until the end of the month! Which sucks! It really didn't bother me too much UNTIL other det sites started coming home! There was one last week, one Sunday, and one tomorrow! While it's nice o know that those families are being reunited...it still stinks that I still have to wait.

Good news is.. I have family coming on Friday and staying a week so that will kill alot of time and we will have fun! The girls are excited! Well i just had to get that off my chest and I haven't posted in a while...take care and God Bless!

Not me! Monday......

I did NOT let Gracie pick out her hearing aid colors this week all by her 3 year old self! That would just be way too much fun!! She did NOT pick BRIGHT purple with purple GLITTERED ear molds! Nope that would just be way too cool...

I did NOT spend my Thursday morning taking adorable pictures of Gracie's special needs preschool class at the mall with Santa! I did NOT enjoy the precious time with my baby girl! What mother would?...

We did NOT let the girls open presents Saturday morning because we are leaving this week to go "home" for Christmas! That would NOT have been absolutely fun for the girls! They are just presents!...

My 3 year old did NOT ride her new bike around the house NUDE!! She has way too much class to do that! She is a lady!She also did NOT meet a church pastor that came to invite people to church at the door with her daddy with no panties on! She did NOT run from the potty to see who was at the door and FORGOT her panties! Nope not my child! I did NOT feel sorry for the pastor either...I also did NOT wonder what he thought when he left or how embarrassed my hubby was!!:) Nope Not Me!!

My 6 year old did NOT come home with aligator tears running down her face on Friday! She did NOT get a yellow for behavior, for she ALWAYS listens to her teacher and is NEVER overly active! My heart did NOT hurt for her, and she did NOT get grounded Friday night for her behavior....that would just be responsible parenting!Nope...Not Me!...

My 3 year old did NOT enjoy the "fighting" at the hockey game on Saturday! She is NOT a girlie girl that LOVES baby dolls! We did NOT enjoy that great game and family time together! What do you think we are??....a loving family??? That enjoys our precious time together???....Nope NOT us!! ;)...

Not Me, Monday!

I simply LOVE reading Mck Momma's blog! So I decided to join in on the fun! Here goes...

I did NOT laugh at my 3 year old wearing nothing but panties, mary janes on the wrong feet, a I Love D.C. ear/headwarmer, and a dogtag necklace reading Meth=Death that we got at the fair. Nope, I did NOT! She was serious about her fashion that day! :)

I did NOT await my husband's out of town training for a much needed break at home, only to realize that the front I put on no longer works and I miss him more than ever!Nope, Iam NOT lonely, bored, and stressed! Uh uh! Nope!

I absolutely DID NOT go get my 3 year old out of bed last night beacuse I simply did not want to sleep alone! Nope I didn't! I did NOT enjoy snuggling with her either, and realize that she is growing up way too fast!

And I DID NOT watch my babies sleep for 10 minutes and tear up at the fact that they are gettin bigger and bigger! I did NOT reach for my 6 year old's hand and kiss it and hold it realizing that her little hand will not stay that little! Nope I didn't!
I did NOT smell their sweet hair and kiss their forehead and thank God for these precious little girls that he blessed us with!
